On my alto if I press down on the low b then instead it plays a low b flat because the bflat part just falls towards me activating the key. So basically I can’t play low b unless I use gravity to make the bflat part fall back into place. What should I do?

Look for a spring on the B flat hinge rod that has come unseated. The Spring holds the B flat key open but it is also held open by the B Key until you press it. You can use a crochet hook to re-seat the spring.

Of course that spring may be broken off at the post that supports it.
(Some people use rubber bands as a band-aid.)
