Steve Neff, purveyor of fine saxophone lessons asked for some advice on how to take his video lessons up a notch in quality. The result is the latest episode of Video QuickTips which you can check out here.

http://www.billmecca.com/how-to-make-your-video-better-vqt-33/

some simple, easy and inexpensive fixes that should help all those who put sax videos on-line.

I've noticed many have the same problem, using one microphone for both voice and sax, and wildly (far more so than Steve's) varying audio levels. This episode deals mostly with that audio issue.

Enjoy.

Bill, Thanks for the link. My son used to make videos for his university, but they have cut back and he is now contracting with departments on his own...which means finding cheaper ways to do things. This and other tips on your site should be very helpful. Peter

Yeah, there are so many videos on YouTube that could be good if they had not used the crappy camcorder microphone.

Thanks all. Just trying to do what I can and pass along what I have learned over the years... and still learning myself.
