Hi there I'm looking to see who is the best tech on saxophones in sweden.
I recently talked to kenneth schlaich which seems to be one which is most respected.
If anyone else has any good techs in sweden or close by plz send info to me

we have a special section on techs and shops, from there ( I have found these by using the search function)

1. Saxofonverkstaden
2. 070-7178725
3. mail (at) saxofonverkstaden (dot) se
4. Vilbergsgatan, Norrköping 60357
5. Mon-Fri (after booked appointment)
6. www.saxofonverkstaden.se
7. Saxophone repair technician. Vintage saxophone dealer. Dealer of accessories.

( found for you with a Macintosh sitting at home, comfortably.... without any need for Tap a talk!)

Yes i know him. I was more after who is regarded to be the best in sweden
Björn is good no doubt who has saxonfonverkstaden but he wants 1 1/2 months to fix it. And some is much quicker then that.

if there are few technicians it is not strange that they are busy, in the US some people wait a lot more.

If you wan tto send your sax to the NL I can advise, turn around would be in a few weeks

My favorite shop would be Matthew’s they are currently doing some great work with chocolate brown (if you like them) Pisoni pads with bronze resonators.

https://www.matthewsmuziek.nl

Otherwise Harry Bakker is also very good

https://harrybakker.nl

But there are so many shops here........

few techs, high prices and work for months ahead , seems a great business opportunity for many techs without too much work!

Here nobody has that kind of work for months ahead

Are the prices better in NL? In sweden u pay between 900€ upto 1400€ for a complete overhaul. Dents, dings and soldering work and also spare parts is extra.

€900 is top money for an overhaul in the NL, seriously and that would include a lot of things, if not all of what you mention

Similar to Switzerland, but I thought things were more expensive here...
