Looking for recommendations for a good saxophone tech with familiarity with vintage Conn saxophones. I live on Vancouver Island but am willing to travel to Vancouver if it makes the difference.

Also looking for a good teacher for tenor sax on Vancouver Island. I'm interested in Jazz but for now just the basics.

Thanks.

The best guy I've found is Claudio Fantinato. He is the tech in partnership with Phil Dwyer and Seawind Horns

I've had him do complete overhauls on MK VI,SBA tenor, and a 1927 Conn alto. All turned out great. He is reasonably priced and very meticulous. Highly recommended.

Feel free to pm me for more in

Hey thanks. He's actually closer to me than Victoria. My Conn 10m doesn't need a complete overhaul or anything extensive. I just want it checked for leaks, make sure it's set up properly, intonation and all.
