Just curious, what is your favorite jazz album to sit in your favorite chair/couch and enjoy a nice, cold, frosty beverage to? I know this can change from day to day, so if you were to do it right now what would it be?
Right now, I'm turning on Dexter Gordon,"Daddy Plays the Horn." Smokin!
+1 for Cannonball's Bossa Nova, great album, and perfect for the setting you've got in mind! How bout "Benny Carter and Dizzy Gillespie?" That's a great album to chill to.
i LOVE cannonball's bossa nova. i'd drink anything to coleman hawkins encounters ben webster. however if i drink anything warmer than a frosty cold beverage to this i'd spontaneously combust
Any other jazz - There's an album I love to listen to called, Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington, The Complete Sessions. OMG is it good. If you haven't heard it, do yourself a favor and check it out!
David Sanborn's "Songs From the Night Before" It was the album that got me hooked on Sanborn!
