I decided to do a fun quick video of Bessie's Blues on a site read to see how my skills are. I can tell I miscounted a couple of those notes, but this was a fun exercise.

I also tried to play a more melodic and story of a solo, which I hope is evident! Let me know what you think.

I like your tone. Make sure and pay attention to the beat and your pitch. without time and intonation the rest wont matter. Good for you to put this out. Keep practicing K

You might also write out three choruses of solos to get used to composing out of time. The more you write out solos the better your finished product will be K

Thanks a bunch Keith, I appreciate the feedback and great ideas. I think that writing out more solos could be a good way for me to get some practice in without actually holding my horn.
