I'm a high school Junior and I'm pretty set on going into jazz, not sure exactly what yet. So I've been looking at this, and I was wondering if anyone had any experiences with it.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

my brother did it, it's great. I suggest you go the summer before you graduate. you playing will be the best it's ever been and you can see what it's like (jazz education, university experience, being on your own for five weeks). it was extremely helpful for my my brothers musicianship, as well as to compare other universities (he ended up going to McGill).

remind me what year a junior is... we don't use those terms up here and I'm always confused by them.

Thank you, Junior year is 11th grade, so I still have another year of school before college. And I was thinking about going this year to help me on my last year of High School as well as help me decide on what to do in college.

thanks gary, I do know that ;-). That sounds like a good plan. I hope to be doing the same thing next summer.
