Berg Larsen Metal Alto m.p. "Old" vs. "New"

Does anyone have any experiences with the Berg Larsen metal alto pieces? Specifically, the "Old " vs. "New" labels that you see when ordering off of the website. There is also a "slim" label that I am confused about. And how do the Metal Bergs for Alto compare to the Beechler Bellites? Thanks!

I play a hard rubber 85/1/M alto Berg and it has plenty of pop and edge to it. I'd be really careful purchasing any new stainless steel mouthpiece from Beechler or Berg Larsen,the quality control is suspect. Ponzol makes a stainless model that out of the box will play well and have that Berg vibe to it.
