Has anyone heard of a Belmonte MPC. I found one in the case of a sax I recently purchased. The MPC appears to be made of hard rubber and is in new condition. Is this a good MPC? Is it rare? How much do you think it's worth? Thanks

Jpatryas66: Welcome to SOTW.

Yes, I have one (for alto) but don't recall how it came me . . . maybe with some horn I bought a while back. If the mouthpiece plays for you, then it is a good one. Declaring any mouthpiece to be BAD is foolish - we all differ. There is a thread somewhere on SOTW about a great $12 mouthpiece - I suppose, if it plays for the person who tries it.

As far as value goes, I doubt if the Belmonte is expensive when new, but who knows? I don't care for it, but maybe someone else would. DAVE
