I'm staring tenor sax after 7 years of clarinet and Guitar. I have a chance to buy a "great condition" King 662 tenor sax, but I can't find any info on them. I could also buy a new D.C. pro Series two white tenor. What should I do?!

GumboV: Expand your options beyond those two saxophones.

However, if you are set on those two, I'd go for the King but I'd want to play it first.

Tell us your budget and the settings where you will play this horn. One of the better buys these days is from Dave Kessler in Las Vegas (a site sponsor). His house brand saxophones are a good value. Check out other threads about them. DAVE
