chord progression on the head and on the solos are different.
On the solos we can say, they are some substitutions.
Holy crap .. it's all ii-V's and tritone subs ..
Not a chance I'll get this to sound like the blues ... more random noise on the menu !

Lionel this tune is a hard challenge for B&I as I'm; here is my first attempt on tenore: a lot of work to do better. :)

Ciao
OK but you did it !
You're right, the head is difficult but you were much more comfortable on the solo.
Nice solo but don't forget solos and head haven't got the same chord progression.
I really thank you, that was great, very nice first try.
Jazz waltz are difficult to play sometimes because we are used to playing on 4/4
I thank you again, maybe you should try it again and you will feel more comfortable and less "staccato" on the head.

Thanks for posting, it's quite original, a lot of portamenti, that doesn't sound bad, something about Johnny Hodges, some bluesy vibes.
I appreciated the head on two octaves.
Merci beaucoup pour votre commentaire Monsieur Lionel.

Both of you seemed to handle the solos without much trouble ... I've tried twice, and deleted both versions in a frustrated rage !
Brendan,
what I can suggest (the simplest and absolutely known by any musician, but not always concentrated on thing):

Reduce the tempo to minimum until it still sounds and work on 4 bars in a loop.
Sure you will do it. Could take sometime.
And sure you know it :).

Just friendly reminder.

Michael.
