I am getting a good all around tone with my Ponzol M1 and Mk 6 Combo. But out of curisoity and hearing a forum member get a real good tone out of his Beechler/Mk 6 I am trialing one from WW and Bws and frankly I was surprised. It is much more powerfull than I am used to and unlike the Guardala Superking I bought and sold and the Studio I trialed it has a core to the tone that is bright and focused for me but not nasel. Anyway, an interesting piece for tenor. I know quite a few pros use them for alto. My impressions. K ( I haven't recorded it for my webpage but I will) K

I went to your site and listened to the comparison of the Beechler and Ponzol you posted and to me they sound identical! It'll take better ears then mine to discern a difference. Very nice pure tone by both.

That clip you heard was from around 4 years ago. I was commenting on my current set up of a Ponzol M1 not 2 and a Beechler 7 which is alot more responsive than the 8 was for me. But , yes it gets for a me a projective , bright tone and I can pull the naselness out of it for my tastes better than a Guardala. Thanks for listening. K
