Yesterday, the link wouldn't load for me. I didn't write anything about it and went on. Today, the link worked and when I figured out how to play the tunes, I sampled a bit of it.

Nice enough but I'm not a fan of electronics. The clarinet sounded pure. I'm sure some may be touched by this but the genre was a bit too ethnic for me. Still, it sounded like it was well done. DAVE

I wasn't able to find the 'Saving the World...' composition, but I thoroughly enjoyed your clarinet in 'Highway to Constantinople'. That's not like the klezmer sound I've heard before, I liked it even better.

By the way, the image of the clarinet super hero on your web site appears to be reversed.

very nice music, difficult to classify (elektoklezmer ? There is a definite Central-East European feel to the clarinet sound and the bad is called the wonder Rabbis ......... although I don't know too many Rabbis who playlike that :bleuwink: ) , the clarinet is the first 2 videos sounds very much like a Duduk

Thanks for your replies guys. I can only react now because of a malfunction of my internet connection since there were more than one problem with the electrical power supply where I'm living. So I couldn't connect to my provider.

Wow Milandro, that Duduk is a beautiful instrument. Thanks for that. I'm seeking more information across internet about it. Never have been playing a double reed instrument before, but well you are never too old to learn. Maybe I will buy one in the foreseeable future.

Rabbis who are playing the clarinet like Yom? I don't know them and I know some rabbis around here. Well, they know me, more than I thougt. But that's a long story. 'Dont't look at it' a rabbi once told me concerning provocative girls where I was then living and it's peculiar but precisely between Rosh Hashanna and Yom kippur my internet connection was not working. Online, the name of my internet provider, was offline :)

Elektoklezmer is a good description I think. They certainly are using effects, tape echos maybe. It inspired me to use the appregiators of my Waldorf Q and Korg Z1 synthesizers through a mixer and headphones and playing sax at the same time. You have to get used to it, hearing the synthesizers through the headphone and the sax behind that. But for one person it works. Although that new Dark Time sequencer from Doepfer is also very temptive along with their little but nice synthesizer Dark Energy.

And yes spike421 the Selmer site was also my first acquaintance with that music. Searching further on the internet brought me to their site.

And why I choose 'Saving the world is easy' instead of 'Highway to Constantinopel' Rondalo? I don't know why but I couldn't get my eyes dry with 'Saving the world is easy.' I geuss I'm just a little silly sentimental now and then. :)
