I see you are in the market for a starter sax. The Barrington, Cecilio, Selman, Glen Edwards, .... are inexpensive Chinese horns. Some are pretty bad, some are O.K. . If you want a decent starter, pick up a used Yamaha YAS 23 . These go for reasonable prices and are good sounding, well made horns that will take a beginner as far as they want to go. They also hold their value well and will give you less problems in terms of wear and tear. If you are set on buying new, give Dave Kessler a call or visit their website at www.kesslermusic.com . They sell a number of good starter horns and will give you reliable advice on what to buy.
