I was wondering if anybody has tried these two, or know what the differences are between them.

Not both, unfortunately. I had a Jazz, which was a nice Meyer type mpc.

Supposedly the NY has a little bit more of a baffle and the Jazz a little bit less, so the NY is more aggressive sounding.

I'm predjudice for the NY, all round it's just a better piece. Phil
