I remember when I had been playing a 6M for a while, then my 12M, and then I picked up the 10M and noted that the RH little finger was much much closer to the others than on the other horns.
Now, after playing on all these for so many years, I don't even notice these kinds of differences.
The point being, that they're all a little different and in reality it doesn't matter.
I would not buy or decline a horn based on this factor.
