I don't hear much talk about the problem I'm having, so perhaps it's just me.
I have encountered the problem on all of the top of the line low A baris that I've played.
The notes B, C & C# at the break, especially the C# are flat. It doesn't matter what mouthpiece I use, what reed strength, anything. I can't get the C# even close. The rest of the horn, no problems at all.
I'm a sax player of 30 years. Bari for about 5 years.
Anyone come across this problem?
Know any solutions?
