I bought a new Berg ligature for a 1 chamber vintage stainless tenor mouthpiece and it just doesn't fit right. It 's a bit too tight and I feel that it's pinching the reed. I'd look around if I was you for a vintage Berg ligature which were better made.

I found an old Guardala tenor 2 screw that fits it absolutely perfect, also I've got a Rovner type I sometimes use to tame my Vigilante, I haven't tried it yet on the Berg (maybe never haha). I do use a 404 on my Vigilante tenor mpc. I know it should fit the standard stainless Berg Bari too. I guess I can peddle the "new" official Berg lig that's too big off to some Berg connoisseur somewhere. Maybe they made a Fatboy or something..??
