I once used one years ago but prefer a normal headset mic. I use a AKG headset for flute so I only need one mic for all my flutes, from c flute to bass.
Don't undersestimate BB pick-ups. Have used an earlier model for ca 20 (!) years with great satisfaction. Apart from delivering an excellent and easily adjustable sound (my opinion anyway), they are perfect anti-Larsen gear, very useful when playing close to loud monitors. But, of course, you need one pick up per flute, if you playe more than one.

Thanks Jacques. Did BB make pickups for alto and bass? My flute Tootlebug made by Ken Tootle in London is the same principle as the BB but a bit more Heath Robinson ( Home Made) looking. I've had it 30 years!

I like the " anti Larsen" phrase...What do you mean? The volume of Berg Larsen saxophone pieces?
Thanks
