Hi all, My community band is looking for a way to have a virtual practice. We've tried Zoom but the dwell (lag) time is too long so we can't play together. Has anyone tried to practice this way? How did it go? What program did you use? Is this even possible? Thanks - Stay Healthy.

Jamkazam has less latency than zoom, but setup is more complicated, for me anyway. I just bought a DI so I could use jamkazam with my guitar teacher. He says it works well for jamming, really well. But you can’t effectively play together on Zoom. If you have the right equipment and get the settings right, jamkazam seems to do the job pretty well.

We are also trying out JamKazam. Seems to work well after tweaking your system settings on your 64 bit machine. UI is not really intuitive, it takes some time to find your way. We are having a test session tonight.
