Here's my first attempt with alto sax. Interesting for me to hear that I'm so much behind the beat (I'd like to play laid back but not out of time). No that's something to work on!
Dirk, there is no link in your post.

Hey Michael, it's always a joy to listen to your tracks, because you always make something own and new out of them! Very nice impro on your EWI and a very nice for these bouncing eighth notes.
Very lovely.
PS: I was quite absorbed by picture wall with music heroes and was glad that you showed it at the end screen. Excuse my ignorance - it's you with Mike Stern (?), Chick Corea, Dave Liebman, who else? (man, I know I should know these greats )
Dirk, thank you very much for kind words.
Yes, with Mike Stern.
Chick, Dave Liebman... yes.
On my wall of fame are only greats that I watched live.
From left top corner horizontally:
Dave Brubeck (watched him twice), Sonny Rollins (watched him not less than 5 times). KEITH JARRETT - he came twice in Montreal after 25 years of absence.Once in trio, once solo concert.
Herbie Hancock (watched him multiple times). Chick was mentioned. And I well remember 2 meetings with him. Last time was Oct. 2019 (the pic in the bottom after the concert).
Watched him multiple times. There were years in a row that he didn't skip our Montreal Jazz Fest. One year he appeared in different combos during 5 days of 10 fest days.
Sure, I was a visitor number one at all shows.

Both time I had very nice pleasant memories and short funny stories associated. For me he is forever alive. Cannot believe that his soul is in heaven already.

Middle row... Gonzalo Rubalcaba - amazing pianist. On the picture he is first on right hand side. Then me - fatty guy at time (but always involved in sport :) ).
In the middle on photo Ignacio Berroa - amaing drummer. Check wiki. Check TUBE to listen. I was really amazed and remember this live concert (probably 2003-2004).
Both Gonzalo and Ignacio played with Diz. Then saxman - Dave Sanchez and bass player Armando Gola. BTW, I checked his recent playing - amazing.
Next photo - with Mike Stern.
Then D. Liebman.
Next photo with Lee Konitz.
Next photo - Oliver Jones. It's my son on photo with him.
Oliver Jones is well known pianist. He studied piano from Oscar Peterson's sister.
Oscar and him were friends. They are both Montealers! :)

Bottom row from left:
with Hiromi Uehara. If you don't know the name, I suggest to check TUBE... explanation note required :). Unique. There is a concert 2 pianos - Hiromi with Chick.
She is very special. Also, check wiki for the info.
Next photo with Jimmy Cobb. Then with Benny Golson. Then with Chick. And last one with John Patitucci.

By typing all this I travelled back in time. And have a sweet emotions about all these people.

I want to add at least few more photos of greats I didn't have a chance to watch live. They will be : Miles, Thelonious, Charlie - they simply must be here in my room :).

And of course Dizzy Gilespie.
I attach the current photo if interested to see it again without rewinding the clip.
