Well, this is a tune that we all know and maybe even love, despite the fact that it's become such a staple of jazz education that many of us tend to associate it with out of tune high school groups. Or good high school groups. Or whatever. But "Autumn Leaves" has a great set of chord changes, particularly if you like to move up a half-step between choruses like I tend to like to do. I also like to produce gnarly drum'n'bass tracks to play along with, so... here we are!

As always, if you wanna talk about gear, or wanna know about remote lessons/recording sessions/etc, cruise over to my website and drop me a line. Or message me here, although I'll probably be slower to respond!

Whew, that was great fun, Brian. Thank you.

I especially enjoyed the couple of Autumn Leaves quotes in the midst of it all. Full circle - very cool.

Whew is right! Awesome playing. Blazing and smooth. For me the video would be more satisfying if you played one chorus of melody up front. Thanks.

That was awesome Brian. The backing in here was so cool, very 80s+modern I thought. Your playing is stunning as always, any person learning from you must be ecstatic! Thanks for keeping these coming, always great to see you killing it.
