It wasn't exactly spelled out, and it's altogether possible that the buyer (and possibly even the seller) was not aware of the the significance of the "H" at the end of the serial no. info. Methinks I'd be checking if I was spending that much..............

Should we - the good citizen of sax community point this out to the buyer? Or we should not meddling into other people bussiness?

Someone who's buying an instrument for any amount of money should be looking up the model or bringing it to someone who can figure out what it is. If the buyer (or seller for that matter) can't be bothered to look up the serial number, they deserve to get what they get.

Well... in the end I did e-mail the seller about the significant of the "H" under the serial number. He (she) could just be a struggling musician searching for "the tone" from vintage soprano ... like myself....
