I was wondering if there is an Art Pepper transcription book like the Omnibook?
Does anyone have one, or know of where i could find one?

Thanks!

I didn't transcribe the solo but I did write out the head for Mambo Koyama. Send me a note and I can send you the pdf. I am new to the forum and not sure if I can upload the file.

Curtis Swift of saxsolos.com has transcribed several thousand tunes/solos, mostly sax solos and his list includes 13 by Art Pepper. He charges 50c per sheet for pdf copies of the transcriptions he has already done and the quality is very good.

Have a look at: http://www.saxsolos.com/ByArtistAtE.html

There is also a Hal Leonard 80 page book of Art Pepper transcriptions called "Art Pepper Collection (alto sax)" - have a look at: http://www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/Art-Pepper-Collection-Alto-Sax/2959435

I saw the books on sheetmusicplus, but apparently it's not available to purchase. Anyone know where else I might find it?

Cool I'll check these out as well. I love Art pepper, as some of you may know.... That curtis swift route, seems the way to go, since that book is currently unavailable...

I have this book, it is out of print but not impossible to find.
I also transcribed three songs including mambo koyama, red car and another one I don't remember now.
If you really love his music contact me.
