I would say the Monique tenor I had briefly in college was the biggest mistake of my saxophone life. Could not play that in tune if you put a firing squad in front of me and on pain of death!
It was pretty. It was silver, but that's all it was. Crap pads, spongy feeling keys, no intonation, the neck angle was off, and there was probably more issues, I don't remember but hey, it's been 16 years since that horn!
I listed it on Ebay where it came from, and to this day I'll never know how it sold for more than Dominic sold new ones for with one crappy picture.... But I'll take it!
