Interesting, is the indian approach to soprano any different than a western approach? Is there a Shehnai influence?

i studied soprano under a shehnai master.
i was the one playing soprano.i have never met a saxophone player in india, but there is a famous one in the south called Kadri Gopalnath, who i listened too but never met.
i studied in the north india town of benares(varanasi) studying "indian classical raga" ,which is very different from western music.
are you thinking about study?
