Anyone recognize this music?
Watched this historic motorsports video on Youtube with some interesting background music:
Who could this be? Did my best effort to find out, but found nothing. The combo seems to be alto sax, bass clarinet, trumpet, trombone, electric guitar, bass and drums. The guitar sounds quite like Bill Frisell, but I think this is older than any of his earliest recordings. Reminds me a bit of Kenny Wheeler's music, or even Carla Bley.
Any ideas? :?
