It is an Advantage horn, that's all I know. I've never seen or played a 300AD, in fact, this is the first I've even heard of it. Yamaha's Advantage line is good, so I'd assume the 300AD is as well, although I doubt it's anything special. Your question is vague and you make no mention of what exactly you want to know...if this is one of those posts where you're asking if it's a good horn, then that's subjective to your needs, but assuming you're a beginner, yes, it's a good horn. On the same token, if you're a beginner, there are many other equivalent options out there for a lot less money....
thanks a lot for your help. I want to get a sense whether YAS-300AD is closer to YAS-480 or to YAS-26. Yamaha US website only list this as intermediate, but how does it differ from YAS-480 (also listed as intermediate). Thanks.
Looks closer to the 480. The 480 just has some more "professional" features. A simple Google search would give you the same answers I or anybody else can provide. Yamaha's site has all of this information available.
