Serial # is blocked partly by the case but it's 6 digits I think starts with a 1 or a 7 so 78809 I think or 18809

I don't see anything unusual here.

The neck in question may have a slight degree of " down bending " but in itself it isn't very different from the average C-Melody made by Buescher, the most salient characteristics is , of course, the " Man in the moon " figure ( imitated by Kohlert somehow is some models )
