Anybody remember Ciccone Symmetricut Reeds?

I guess I'm showing my age here. I was cleaning out an old, unused case and found one of those cardboard things you used to take your reeds home from the music store, back in the days when we picked the best reeds out of the box in the music store and bought them individually.

Anyway it was faded and I threw it away, but it brought a smile to my face.

I guess they went out of business because I haven't heard their name for a looooooong time.

Yep. That's what we had at school when I started on the licorice stick. Roughly equivalent to the old Rico at the time but would be a pretty good reed today.

Sorry for reviving a thread I missed and thanks for the links.

I guess I still play them since I buy orange box Ricos. But were I used to go to the music store, hold each reed up to the light and decide which ones I want, I get the entire box now.
