I sent Brian Powell a mouthpiece and a check at the end of September. I got an email from him October 4 discussing his suggestions for improving the mouthpiece. Since then, I've emailed him and called him twice to check on it, and received no response.

Has anybody made contact with him recently?

I had a couple friends mention that he's been pretty slow returning pieces lately. No real idea of what's going on, but you aren't the first one to notice.

I'm told that after many phone calls and e-mails he did eventually get back to them and apologize for the delay, but as of last Sat they still haven't gotten their mouthpieces back.

Brian is notoriously slow because he's so much in demand. Must be a good sign. I'd rather have the guy who works on my mouthpiece take his time rather than rush the jobs.

I've waited quite a bit to get my Link back from Marin but I couldn't be happier.

In a way, in these days of instant gratification, I've learned to appreciate the wait that comes with receiving quality products.

Due to problems i had (still have) with the alto ny cafe mpc, that i bought from him, i wrote him E-mails in September and November without ever getting a reply. Let us hope that only his spamfilter is very very rigorous or he is so busy that he is not able to look at some mails from customers. It would be very sad if another manufacturer and service provider (especially such a gifted talent and great producer) would start to care less about their already convinced customers only because at the moment the demand is very high. Maybe he has so many things to do and to think about that he simply is forgetting to answer??

Yes, this is worrying.

Hello everybody, and please excuse my lapses in communication. I am here, I am well, just very busy and quite backed up. We announced a short sale at the beginning of August, and the response was tremendous during those two weeks, but I have just gotten myself buried out from under that. But, while trying to get lots of pieces done and out, my communication has suffered greatly. But I'm through the sale stuff now, so I should be cruising here again; in fact, it's been a bit slow of late, so I anticipate getting quite caught up in the next few weeks.
Florian, I do owe you an email and will get that out by the end of today. Good talking to you this morning, Dirty Dave, and thanks again for your patience with me! Hopefully the results will be well worth the wait.
NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION FOR 2012 (effective immediately): BE MUCH MORE PROMPT IN RETURNING EMAIL AND PHONE CALLS!
Thanks again for all your business everybody, I feel very fortunate and blessed to be able to do this work full-time, and I continue to say that the best part of this job is being able to meet so many great people and players from around the world.
