Hey. I was wondering if anyone had any info on tenor madness overhaul. Were your satisfied? How does the process work with them?

I bought my Reference 54 tenor from Randy at Tenor Madness years ago. I can't speak for the full overhaul because I've never had that done, but I can vouch for the more than great set-up job that was done on my Ref. Randy is a very easy person to deal with and they have a good reputation for a very good reason.

First rate work and wonderful to work with. A bit slow, but worth the wait.

Try the search function, this has been discussed before too.

I had my VI overhauled there a few years ago. Highly recommended. If you can pick up or drop off your horn in person he has lots of fun saxo-toys to try as well.

They did an outstanding job on my 20 year old YTS-62. Worth the money .. and the wait.

Great! Did you get a basic overhaul? $950 is pretty expensive.

I'd say considering I bought a used YTS62 for 1200.00 I'm sorry but that's a ridiculous price to pay. I'm glad I know someone who works for less out of his tiny little garage.
