I am new to music but would like to learn to play the saxaphone. Does anyone know of a good instructor here in Jacksonville FL?

I can't speak to the quality of instruction, but I know that Music & Arts and FL Conservatory of Music (Both on San Jose) offer beginner sax classes.

You might want to try to contact the music dept. at UNF and see if they have any recommendations. There are probably a few music majors who are very capable of providing lessons.
