I just won an eBay auction for a horn in Australia but the seller is now telling me he can't accept PayPal and wants me to send payment via bank transfer. He says he is located in Ingleburn NSW 2565 which I think is near Sydney? Just wondering if any forum members live near by and might be willing to broker a deal?
thanks max,not near there ....new-south-wales is a very big place...!!!!!
on the odd occaision i say in my listing,"PAYMENT BY BANK TRANSFER"...when i am selling something for thousands of dollars...
otherwise, for a $100 mouthpiece, just get the paypal fee's and be done with it...
one can usually see from past dealings in the feedback area if its a scam or not,and asking for the phone number and giving a ring, just to hear the person's voice is a good thing...
anyways,i don't think people want to deal with "another persons ebay crap"...!
Yeah, the gold plate one. It looked a beautiful horn. Shame it was just a scam
I had an email from ebay confirming a third party had accesed someone elses account and the listing was fraudulent.
Thought so.
It smelled a little fishy to me also.
Was pretty though.
