I think it's good to push yourself and just go for something once in awhile even if there are lots of things that don't work. Sometimes I will experiment with things that I can not get to work but learn something along the way. But ultimately I feel that if one chooses to play fast with a lot of notes, then it needs to be clean rhythmically and with clear melodic shapes, otherwise it can start to sound like random noodling.
Lionelsax, to me it sounds like you are hitting the change harmonically and I think I hear some good voice leading in there but some places sound a little like just random fast scales. But rhythm changes is no easy thing to blow over like the greats, especially at crazy fast tempos! I've been working on it myself and my progress is slow. I found one thing that helped is learning some simple sing-song type melodies that work in a simple way over the form. Also some simple blues call and response phrases that can fill a whole 8 bars or more. That gives my brain a break and I'm not so panicked trying to keep the ideas flowing.
