many times when i just play an High G or F# (not altissimo) it just comes out as a really high note. it's fine when i play one note and chromatically go up. though when i jump from a note to G or F# it does it again. my teacher says that it's my tongue position but it feels like somethingelse. any ideas?

That has happened to me sometimes. Try adjusting your embouchure or reed position, or not tonguing so hard when attacking those notes.
