I’m leaking this information as they are not “officially” on the market yet…

Announcing the new Morgan Jazz Indiana Model Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece!!!

In response to a customer request, Erik Greiffenhagen designed the Morgan Excalibur Indiana Model a couple years ago. Our customer wanted a large chamber mouthpiece with a flat baffle along the lines of an Early Babbitt Tone Edge Otto Link. Erik designed and made this mouthpiece on our Excalibur (streamline body) mouthpiece and it has been in production since.

Until recently, this model was only available on the streamline Excalibur body. We are now offering this “Indiana” interior on our Jazz (full body) mouthpiece and will call it the Morgan Jazz Indiana Model. Priced at $329. Again, these are inspired by the Early Babbitt Tone Edge Mouthpieces...large chamber with flat clamshell baffle. These are made from the same rubber formula as was commonly used for mouthpieces in the 1940s - 1950s. They are truly handcrafted inside and out by three of the best and most experienced craftsmen in the business. We still make mouthpieces the "old-fashioned" way.

We are currently making these as the orders come in, so plan on 2-4 weeks for delivery. They are not “officially” available yet on the Morgan Mouthpieces Website, but if you are interested, you can order through the JunkDude Website or contact Teresa at [email protected]

Just posted a new review and sound clip of the Morgan Excalibur Indiana tenor saxophone mouthpiece! Check it out!

*Sorry, this is actually a review on the Morgan Excalibur Indiana. This thread is on the Morgan Jazz Indiana mouthpiece........ Didn't notice the difference until after I posted........
The difference between the Excalibur Indiana and the Jazz Indiana is the physical size of the body. Excalibur is a thinner "streamline" body and the Jazz is a standard size hard rubber body. The Excalibur will feel a bit smaller in the mouth. Both have identical interiors. Since the interior of the two are the same, they have a similar core tone. However, since the Excalibur has thinner walls, it does have a bit more edge (or brilliance as Ralph described it) to the sound. The Jazz Indiana Model will have just a bit less edge than the sound samples in the review of the Excalibur.
