Hi Everyone....

Im looking at an Andreas Eastman Soprano (ESS640BS) and searching for any information on this brand. My research so far has me pretty interested however buying in Australia from a supplier in the UK I want to make sure I am getting something good.

I play primarily in a large Church Band and have been playing an old Wetlkang for the past 20 years or so that I picked up 2nd hand for about $300.... Time to upgrade!

Any advice or experience would be great.....

I would see if there are any in Australia that you can try. The intonation is pretty good on them, but it would be wise to try a few as the left hand b and c can be slightly flat. Great sound, though!

Anyway, if you get one, have it setup by Bret Gustafson! He's great!

I cannot speak from personal experience, but one of my very trusted techs tried a few at a trade show recently, as well as looking over the build and mechanics.... and he was really, really impressed by this brand.
Said they way, way outshone stuff like Viking, Antigua, TK, Kessler, etc.
