Saxophobe: Thanks for posting that article. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

A few NAMM Shows back, I ran into a guy employed at the music store that sponsored my pass at the show. I see him in various pro ensembles around the area and know he is a good player. He was touting the new Cannonball Vintage alto he'd played at their booth and told me he had a bid in to buy it.

I reached the CB booth and played the Vintage model alto (was told it was a prototype). It was impressive and I told myself then that if I came across one later in the marketplace, I'd give it serious consideration for purchase. I have yet to come across a store that sells CB's so I have not yet tested my promise to myself. By the way, the other guy was unable to buy the horn. I've played other CB's (a beautiful Black Raven Stone Series curved soprano comes to mind and I almost bought it). They DO make a nice looking instrument. DAVE

I bought a Vintage Reborn tenor,I didnt really need another tenor but I was very curious about these horns.I really like the horn and I agree with his review. The VR series is a great horn, well set up out of the box and for some could be the last horn they would need.
