Biscuit: You may want to reconsider your comment that it would make things easier for you. Over the years, I found that double-cases (I even had a triple-case; and the old Selmer tray-packs were really triple cases . . . alto, clarinet, flute) became very heavy the further you had to carry them. PLUS, I found it easier to carry three separate smaller cases than to lug one large and heavy case around; and they seemed to store more easily in a car trunk of limited size. Each system has it's advantages, but the year I had to carry my triple-horn (sop, alto, clarinet) case around the Sacramento Jubilee taught me a painful lesson. Same with the Selmer tray-pack - it has long been stored in my attic. DAVE
