Found an old MP in my grandfathers alto It has a number "5" stamped into it and next to but slightly below it looks like the letter "F". Under that is stamped "THE FINK" or could that be "THE PINK" ?. Under that is stamped N.Y.. To the right of the rail is stamp the numbers "4569" like it might be a serial number. Can anyone id this piece it probably was made in the 20's?

Is this a vintage thing or some newer model. It is always hard as when some of the letters disappear, it tends to spell other words. At first reading, I thought it was a mouthpiece that told people each time you played a wrong note, the dirty Fink!!!
