anyone ever try alto clarinet reeds on alto sax? They seem to be the same width except the alto clarinet reeds are longer and have a longer cut.

Just curious - i seem to have about 15+ boxes of alto clarinet reeds laying around now and have no idea what to do with them.

That's all encouraging. At least I'll be able to use all these reeds at some point. Maybe give a few away here and there to people .. seems as though I have a *lifetime* supply and I doubt i would be able to sell them for much.

I use alto clarinet and alto sax reeds interchangeably on alto saxes and alto clarinets.
Bass clarinet and tenor sax reeds interchangeably on bass clarinets and tenor saxes.
Baritone sax and EEb contra-alto clarinet reeds interchangeably on those two instruments.
German-cut Bb clarinet reeds usually fit on Eb soprano clarinet.
