The object is to create an alliterated word sequence that somehow corresponds to the previous entry. There are numerous ways of doing this. For example, if the current entry is:

Steven sold six saxophones.

One possibility is to extend the alliteration, trying to make it as long as possible:

Supposedly Steven sold six sweet saxophones Saturday.

Another possibility is to stay with the same letter in a different sentence:

Stephanie sings soprano songs.

Another possibility is to transition to the next letter:

Steven sold six saxophones Tuesday to Tom.

or even:

Steven sold saxophones to Tom Tuesday under unusual umbrellas.

(the alliteration has now progressed from S to U in one post)

Yet another possibility would be to just transition to the next letter from the current one:

Teresa told Tom to try trumpets.

To be satisfying, an alliteration should consist of at least three words.

Virtual credits are given for long alliterations, uncommon words, and amusing imagery.

I hereby start the game with:

Ancient alligators always ate apples.

Ophelia opened oak observatories, ostensibly offering optical or ocular opportunities over oligarchs owning oxen. Perhaps people prefer planetary peeping possibilities.

Six sleuthy shaven sheep shake Sheikh Sharif's sanctuary; tremuously tiptoeing to tropical Tunisia, teasing usually unwary uniformed Ugandans. Unnoticed.

North Nebraskan natives never noticed nice needlepoint napkins, ostensibly observing orange occultations (providing perfect panoramic protection). "Quite queer!" quoted Quincy, qualifying quantity.
