I am currently using Superiale 3's that ha be been modified some. I find the usual inconsistencies compared with the other major brans I have tried. I went through a couple of boxes of d.c.s and of the 10 had 1 super reed and a few decent ones. The rest of them needed work

I play soprano with a pretty loose embouchure wich may make reed quality more critical. Wish I knew more about it

I've tried them a few times in the past. Didn't particularly care for them. It's really all about preference. I took a Vandoren over an Alexander primarily because I had gotten a greater response on them. Try out an Alexander, you may like it. Each player is different! If you feel like they aren't for you, I always encourage a Vandoren. Big-Wig brand for a reason

I heard some good things about the DCs. I'm gonna be getting some boxes into the shop in January and have some professional customers try them out and see what they think. If they dig it, I dig it and I'll start selling it. I also try this stuff out myself, but I lean more towards what my customers want.....cuz it's not always about what I want in life.
