For medical reasons, I can't play the sax any more. I have no breath. I have heard that I can play an EWI because it does not require the wind power of a reed instrument.

I am looking for an EWI USB, used. I have about $100.00 to spend, with a little wiggle room. I am looking for a used instrument.

So far, every used instrument I've seen on the web has ultimately proved to be a scam. If I call the phone number and get a bad number, if my e-mail gets no reply, if I look up the address and it's Wrigley Field, I'm not going to send money.

Also, sorry guys, but if an item costs $300 new, $150 used is a pretty good price. I'm medically disabled and not rolling in dough. I'm also savvy enough that half of new price is about what you'll get from a pawn shop.

If it matters: I am fighting hard to get music back into my life. I'm doing all I can right now.

I’ve had one of the USB EWI’s, it’s really more of a toy than a real usable EWI. I’d recommend you save up for a used EWI, the current model has decent built in sounds that can be cheaply upgraded with Patchman sounds, can actually be used in live situations and has a better resale value as well.
