I was wondering if anyone has played this Aizen alto piece? I understand it is an anniversary piece made of a different HR compound than their other pieces and based on a NY Meyer. Would be interested to hear people's impressions.

Even though this is an old thread about a mouthpiece which Aizen no longer makes, I recently got a deal on a barely used one and am knocked out at how well it plays, much better than the resin Aizen pieces which I also own. It’s worth getting one when they come up on the used market, one of the best playing Meyer copies ever!

Thanks for that—a saw just a few days ago that one popped up here and I missed it. Glad to hear your comments on the Kagura, if you have any Curt info on the tone, response etc would be interested to hear.
