Hi all, I am new to the forum, so I hope that this is the appropriate place! I recently purchased a Buffet 400 alto sax, and I love it's tone. However, the A2 and D2 both seem to have a slightly airy sound. When I play these notes by lipping up, without the octave key, this airyness goes away. I have never had an issue like this with any of my Yahamas or Selmers. Any suggestions on how to fix this tone issue? Thanks for all responses.
