I want to buy a selmer mark vi soprano recently,there are two horns for me to choose,an engraved one with nearly 80% original lacquer serial 314xxxx songs great,and an unengraved one serial 313xxxx nearly 100% original lacquer just like new condition,can any one tell me are there any differences between the engraved and the unengraved ones?which one is better?

The engraving makes no difference to the playing quality. Cosmetically I like engraved V1's better but if I liked the unengraved one's playing quality best I'd take that one. V1's vary a little having a lot of handwork. The late ones( like these) play well and are a little freer blowing than the earlier ones which have a little richer sound and more resistance.
