I just sold my AI Bauhaus Alto locally. Didn't want to sell to a fellow member here because of acid bleeding all over the horn. This was a replacement of the first horn that had the same problem.

After about 6 months the bleeding was spreading fast. Sent it back, received a replacement last June. Replacement had no issues. Since I've been playing nothing but Tenor, I decided to sell the altos, Bauhaus and Buescher.

First time I opened the case since last year, and to my surprise acid bleed was pretty spread. Bell strap was really bad. It looked like it had rusted all the way around. Some areas extending almost half an inch from the strap. My teachers remark was to sell a.s.a.p. Which I did.
