Anyone have any scripts or sheet music on ace canon tuff and also last date song, for tenor sax. Those two songs are forever rolling in my mind and need to learn them. Thanks

Ace was a huge influence on me when I was first starting out. Fortunately none of his stuff is very complex and easy enough to learn by ear.

I suggest you simply listen and play and/or write down what you hear. You’ll grow as a musician from the effort and know the tunes better than you would just reading them, having also copied the style, sound, effects and inflections.

Curtis has "Tuff". Just $1.00 per sheet. Starts on B flat which will be your concert F on tenor.

Check with Johnny to see if he will email his "Last Date" sheet music to you;

Or you can buy Boots' book;

If I had them I would send them to you but have been playing them by ear for many years. Both songs still take the older dancers on a trip down memory lane!
